Your Worth Is NOT Measured by Your Weight
Hey Campus Queens,
Word around campus this week is a reminder we all need to hear from time to time your value has never, and will never, be measured by your weight. Not by a number on a scale, not by clothing sizes, and certainly not by society’s narrow definitions of beauty.
Here at BBW University, we stand firmly on the belief that your body is not a problem to be fixed it is a home that carries your strength, your story, and your resilience. Every stretch mark, every curve, every inch of you reflects a life lived, lessons learned, and battles overcome.
Too often, the world tries to teach us that we must shrink to be accepted. But on this campus, we reject that narrative completely. We do not shrink we expand. We grow in confidence, in self-love, in sisterhood, and in the understanding that beauty has never been one-size-fits-all.
Your true worth shows up in how you uplift others, how you walk in your authenticity, how you protect your peace, and how you continue to love yourself even when the world tries to convince you otherwise.
Here's a Reminder:
Your Worth IS:
• Your confidence
• Your kindness
• Your voice and presence
• Your resilience and strength
• Your ability to love yourself unapologetically
Your Worth is NOT:
• A scale number
• A clothing size
• Someone else’s opinion
• Society’s beauty standards
• Something that needs validation
Campus Reflection:
This week, look in the mirror and remind yourself:
“I am worthy exactly as I am. My body is not my limitation it is my power.”
Because at BBW University, we don’t measure worth by weight…
We measure it by confidence, courage, and how boldly you live in your truth.
